Distant Shift VU5.0.1 introduces a focused balance update for the Ascension system.
Genesis Shard rewards have been increased slightly, giving players a more meaningful reward for pushing further before beginning a new Ascension.
The revised reward curve still uses diminishing returns, keeping long-term permanent production growth under control while making stronger runs more worthwhile.
The Ascension help information has also been updated to reflect the new reward calculation, with existing saves and Genesis Shard progress remaining fully intact.
